This is across the street from Balboa Park on the west side.

From I-5: take the Laurel St exit and go east up the hill until you reach Fifth Avenue. Go left (north) on Fifth and look for parking on the streets surrounding the Cathedral. Parking is limited, so you may have to park some distance from the cathedral and walk. Please leave enough time to arrive, park, walk, check in, and be ready to go by the start time.

The Veterans War Memorial Building is located just north of the Zoo parking lot; you will be parking in the north end of this lot. Don't turn left at Zoo Place – the way you usually get to the Zoo. Instead, go past Zoo place and turn left on Zoo Dr. See directions and the map below.

   

From I-8: take 163 south. Follow signs to Park Blvd. exit. Turn left (north) on Park Blvd. Go up Park Blvd. and turn left on Zoo Dr. (NOT Zoo Place) Drive south on Zoo Drive and turn left into the first entrance into the parking lot. Park in the lot; the WMB is just north of the parking lot.
 

From I-5 north: Take the Pershing Dr./B St. exit. Stay in the left lane, and take a left onto B Street. At the first light, turn right onto 12th Avenue, that becomes Park Blvd. Go up Park Blvd. and turn left on Zoo Dr. (NOT Zoo Place) Drive south on Zoo Drive and turn left into the first entrance into the parking lot. Park in the lot; the WMB is just north of the parking lot.
 

From I-5 south: Take the 10th Avenue exit and turn left at the first light onto A Street. While making the turn, get into one of the 2 the right lane and turn left onto 12th Avenue, which becomes Park Blvd. Go up Park Blvd. and turn left on Zoo Dr. (NOT Zoo Place) Drive south on Zoo Drive and turn left into the first entrance into the parking lot. Park in the lot; the WMB is just north of the parking lot.
